The Faug (FAU-G) Official Trailer, promised after the ban of PUBG, was released a couple of days ago by Akshay Kumar and nCore games.
Faug is an online multiplayer battle royale game mobile supported by Akshay Kumar and nCore games.
We review the Faug trailer and explain why it was a little underwhelming.
Before FAUG, Play Raji
We also show you another game called Raji: An Ancient Epic, that Faug can learn some lessons from. Raji is a game that used Indian cultures, Indian itihasa, and Indian Gods to create a beautiful looking video game experience. Raji gives a lesson to many Indian video game companies, including Akshay Kumar's Faug game, about how to develop a wonderful game with limited funds as well as challenges Indian computer game companies face.
We hope that Raji is successful, and the Faug video game will improve on its graphics and gameplay to truly compete with other games in the global mobile gaming arena. Support Indian Games!
Will you play Raji: An Ancient Epic?
Let's discuss the Faug trailer and I will offer a wonderful new Made In India game that can take on the world! When Akshay Kumar announced the FauG game, people were very excited which is the replacement of PubG in India, and its an Indian game that will be coming on mobile devices and it can potentially take on the world That excitement reached even higher when the new trailer was released.
This was released in the style of cinematic trailers of games like fortnite and Clash of clans The new trailer has just been released and it looks...OK I’m assuming that there has been a lot of money spent on this game and with the backing of a superstar and so much support I thought the trailer should have looked much more cinematic. look at other games' cinematic trailers in comparison and how good they look It looks a bit like kaua biryani in place of chicken Biryani I hope that the final product and game graphics look higher end We want this game to compete not just in India, but globally Many people are heralding this game as the arrival of the video game industry in India.
FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards open doors for Indian Game Developers
That it will open doors for many more game developers in India. And look, I want this game to be good and successful. But I think Faug should learn a lesson from another game developer there is another Indian game that has been developed in India, that finally looks to represent the beauty, potential of incorporating Indian culture in video games This game is called Raji.
It is an action-adventure role playing video game developed by Nodding Heads Games based in Pune This is a company of just 13 people who have developed an honestly, gorgeous looking game Ther game was initially launched on Nintendo Switch, and then The game was released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox on 15th October I came to find out about this game only last week, when I saw the trailer anad I started reading about the game. The story is of a girl called Raj. Rakshasas kidnap her brother Golu and the other children.
Raji Powerful Indian Game
She receives powers and a Trishul from Durga Mata, to find her brother and defeat the Rakshasas Indian culture has long been ignored by video game companies. There are games about Greek, Nordic, japanese and Egyptian culture. These kinds of games have been making a lot of money and have been very popular. but Indian culture and itihasa is a goldmine that has hardly even been explored by game I remember I used to look at the age of Empires and other games and wonder where was Indian culture. Even when they put in Indian culture, they put in Mughals.
This is like when you come home after a long time to eat your mom’s home-cooked meal and she made Karele ki sabzi But this is one of the few games that has emerged from India where Hindu culture, itihasa and deities are central in its storyline. Faug had support from superstar, and had no problem finding funding The development of Raji has been very difficult. "Investors and VCs are interested in the mobile industry, Investors did not want to invest in a well designed, world class PC/Console game The game was developed on a very tight budget because they were not able to raise the amount they needed on Kickstarter They used their own savings to develop the game.

Budget for Raji and FauG
There is a great article on first post about their struggles in fundraising that people should really check out. But despite the tight budget, the team at Nodding Head Studios has developed a gorgeous game. Everything in the game looks beautiful: the game’s environment, stages and sets are drawn in the Pahari art style and combines hand-painted textures, rendered in 3D I would recommend that you check out the 7 minutes of gameplay released by IGN throughout Raji’s journey, she will often come upon radiant portraits of Hindu gods painted on various surfaces By walking up to these and pressing a button, Vishnu will give a short explanation of the depicted scene.
what a wonderful way to educate Indians and foreigners alike on Indian culture and itihasa The villain and Rakhsasa Design are also so unique and amazing. The game developers said that they had taken inspiration from developers like Dark Souls and it really shows. The designs for the asuras and the rakshasas is also very cool, for example, One of the game's demons, a Tezabsura or acid-demon, the Rangda, Gadasura, The main villain Mahabalasura And obviously because the game embraces Hindu culture and itihasa, somebody had to come get upset Vice already printed an article saying how this game is Far-right Game has just been released in an industry which is still trying to develop and already these people want to destroy it So I think for that reason that it is burning some backsides, I think its important to support this game I played a little bit of the demo and watched the gameplay released by IGN.
The gameplay mechanics are quite basic and a little stiff and there are some annoying bugs with movement but keeping in mind that they were working on such a low budget, the story of the game, the setting of the game, the characters and how wonderfully this world has been created and realized really does make up for some of the mechanics of the gam I haven't played the full game yet but I hope to soon.
Game Available and Its Reviews
The game is available on PC on Steam, and so far it has nearly 500 reviews with 94% reviews being very positive Another game I want to give a shoutout to is Asura by Ogre Head games The graphics and character design are not as great as Raji, but Asura has also won a bunch of awards and has been appreciated by critics and audiences So this is another game that you guys can check out while you are waiting for FauG I hope that a game like this, and companies like these, that embraces Indian culture and itihasa, and that has shown such respect to India’s heritage, are very successful so that in the future they can develop more games like this, incorporating Indian culture with a much bigger budget so we can truly see what kind of beautiful games they can create.
