How To Take A Screenshot With The iPhone X

Screenshot on IPHONE X

With the removal of the home button, taking a screenshot's a little bit different on the iPhone 10, and it's gonna involve the power button and the volume up key as well.

How to take a screenshot with your brand new iPhone 10.

Basically, all you need to do is tap on both keys. You wanna press them down at exactly the same time really quickly, and when you do that, you'll see the screen flash, and a screenshot will be taken.

It's pretty simple, pretty easy to do there. You don't wanna hold it down for too long cause that's just gonna eventually end up activating Siri.

You wanna be able just to tap them really quickly, simultaneously together, and bam, your screenshot is taken just like that.

Now let's say you wanna take more than just a screenshot.

Screen Recording on IPHONE X

Let's say you actually wanna record what's going on on your screen.

You're able to do that now in iOS 11, and it's really simple to setup.

What you wanna do is you wanna go into settings, and then you wanna go down to where it says control center.

And then you wanna customize your control center. Once in there, when you scroll down to the available options that you can add to the control center, you wanna tap on the one for a screen recording.

Once you've done that, just swipe down the control center and you'll see the icon right there. When you tap on that icon you get a count down of three, two, one, and you will start recording anything that's on your display and on your screen, which is pretty cool.

It'll be indicated at the top about the time in a little red icon as you can see there, kind of hover over the clock, and let's you know that it's recording anything and everything that's on your display. So you wanna make sure that you're recording what you wanna record, and maybe nothing too private or anything like that if you're gonna be sharing it around.

Once you have everything that you wanna record on the display, all you need to do is swipe down the control center, tap on the record button again, and it will stop recording and it will save it to your photo section within your iPhone, and you can share it from there.

And that's pretty much it. So you learned how to take a screenshot with your iPhone 10. You also learned how to do some screen recording as well too.
